Today's the day:-(

Today is the day we are celebrating Emily's first birthday! It makes me sad that this year has flown by so fast!! I just finished decorating her cakes so I thought I'd post them for you all to see...I'll post more pictures from her party tonight. I made a shaggy pink and purple puppy because she loves puppies! And the cake for her to dig in is a pink and purple paw print. I can't wait to see what she does with it! Welp, here are the pic's:

We spent the afternoon at Lizzy Tizzy's letting Ashlynn and her cousin get their hair, make up and nails done. They love it!! This store has more pink in it than you could ever imagine!! If you have a girly girl, this is the perfect place to bring her! It's awesome! Here are a few pictures of Ashlynn's fun time....

She had such a wonderful time. You could see in the picture how she was so excited while they were fixing her hair. She giggled the whole time! then the last picture shows how she knew how beautiful she looked! So awesome!

Here is Emily's new cheesy but adorable smile:-) She crinkles up her little nose and shows off all 4 of her little teeth:-) She is so funny!

Out came the sun and dried up all the rain....

The Perks of where we live...

We have a full blown firework show in OUR BACK YARD!!!


Taking pictures of Jon Michael watching the fireworks was extremely hard, cause he was moving around, and the fireworks were shooting up, and my poor camera didn't know what to do:-) So they all came out blurry:-( Means one thing: practice, practice, practice......

So this is how it went. We all went outside to watch the show.....the fireworks start up (it's pretty funny to watch the people that are new to this place and don't know about the show run out of their apartments, cause we live by the airport, so if you hear an explosion, uh, yeah, I'd run outside too!) anyways....the show starts, and Emily does NOT like it. She did ok, then that was it, and Jonathan had to take her inside, then Ashlynn starts whimpering.....so she ends up running insidecrying, and that left just me and Jon Michael watching the show. But even inside Emily was scared cause it was SO LOUD! Well, thats the story of our night:-) Professional firework show in our back yard....pretty cool. Thats the only thing we will miss when we move:-)

Awesome visit

This passed Sunday we had the awesome opportunity to spend some time with Jonathan's Aunt Sue and Uncle Keith (Jonathan's Mom's brother) who were in from Texas. I just have to say this couple is soooo awesome!! We really enjoyed spending time with them. They came to church with us Sunday morning, then we all went eat out, then went back to Jonathan's parents house to hang out. We miss them already! Here are some pictures of the visit:
