FOOTBALL!

A little boys dream come true...Daddy comes home with a bag full of football equipment:-) Here is Jon Michael trying it on:

Then of course Ashlynn had to try it on:

Then I had to see what all the fuss was about ;-)

Emily tried on the helmet but didn't like it, so here she is instead, wearing her big brother's shoes:

Innocent conversation

Last night we went have a family meal at Serrano's. While waiting on our food Ashlynn decides to start talking about how God is Jesus and Jesus is God. She couldn't find the words to explain what she was trying to say, so Jon Michael who is "all knowing" decides to butt in and put in his two cents and says "Ashlynn, Jesus and God are the same. Like 2 headed, but not."
ha ha ha ha!!! How blessed we are to have such awesome kids!

Ashlynn

Ashlynn was picked for "Letter Expert" today (her letter is K). I had to send a picture of her to hang up on the classroom wall with an object she is bringing that starts with K....so I had a little opportunity to take some pictures of her, and she sat still cause she wanted them to look good ;-) So here are a couple:

Our evacuation experience

We evacuated to Texarkana and were blessed to stay with some awesome friends. It ended up being like a mini retreat. Very relaxing! It was such a peaceful place. We stayed in an apartment that was on top of a horse barn. The kids were so excited about that! They got to walk down each day and pet the 2 horses that were below us! It was awesome! It was a place you don't want to leave! Here are some pictures from our trip:

Jon Michael and Ashlynn got to ride one of the horses. They had a blast!

Here is Jonathan "Q ing" it up for everyone:

Mr. Chuck had a really cool scooter. The kids didn't want to get off of it:

Emily got to take a bath in the sink. She thought she was so cool:-)

Here they are in the barn:

There were what Jon Michael calls "nature trails". They got to go walk down the hilly paths.

We were up north and our kids were playing in the sand....how funny is that!?! They buried each other in the sand:

This cat was so funny. It was sitting on it's butt!

Here is the crew (minus a few) Our awesome friends: Heith, Mr. Chuck(Heith's dad), Brennen(Heith's brother), and Jessica. Heith's mom Mrs. Karen stayed home with Harper while we went eat some ice cream.

This is a pic of the ride up there. Jam packed in the van:

This is the view from our deck:

This is the drive way from the barn up to Heith's parents house. It was so pretty!

Cowboy Jonathan :-)

Emily didn't like the sand. When she would walk in it all she would say is "YUCKY!"

Emily liked the kitties :-)

Another angle view of one of the horses (the one that wasn't camera shy)

Ashlynn's first day of school experience

I haven't been able to download the pictures to my computer yet but they are soon to come. Today was Ashlynn's first day of school with the whole class being there. When we picked them up from school we asked her how it went...this was her reply: "Today a grasshopper flew in my mouth so I spit it out" HA HA HA!!!
She loves school and was so excited when I said she has homework:-) We are so blessed with being able to have them at Ernest Gallet. All we had to do was show proof we are buying a house in their zone! We already love the school! They both have awesome teachers! God is sooooo good!!!!
I'll try to post some pictures tonight.

New Ultra Sound Pics

Don't mean to brag but....(ha ha!)
Little foot:-)

All is looking well. The baby is still growing on schedule. I now can wait to go back to the specialist in 8 weeks instead of 4:-) But after that I will have to start going in weekly to be strapped to a monitor for 20 minutes to listen to the baby's heart rate. My test results are coming back great. The meds are still working. Thanks for all the prayers!! We will be having our new baby boy soon:-)
