Here is a video I found on our desk top of Ashlynn at around 2 years old. She got into some hair cement. Not hair gel, or wax....hair cement. Soooo funny!

Ashlynn is in love
My little sister got a new puppy and Ashlynn is in love with it! She wanted to take it home so bad. I could barely get a clear shot of her holding the dog because she was dancing around so much with it!! Look at the puppy's face...it looks like she is saying "help me!" ha ha!! It was so cute! She rocked the dog to sleep. I have to admit, I fell for it too! It was such an adorable puppy and so tiny and playful. Here is a picture of Ashlynn doing the typical kid holding a puppy thing where the bottom half of the puppy is dangling around:-)

Busy Bee
Well, Emily is one now, and she thinks she is five! She is the most active child out of the 3. She is the only baby we HAD to get child locks on EVERY cabinet for. She knows how to climb the stairs, and she can get to the top before you can blink. She can climb on top of a chair to get on top of Jon Michael's toy box to get what ever she wants up on a shelf. She can reach the knobs on the stove and she likes to turn them :-O. She can pull herself up on the trash can and DIG! She can turn the dishwasher on, and her latest enjoyment is flushing the toilet. But she is such a joy! She tries to talk in sentences. Our other 2 would only point at things and say "da". Emily speaks in mumble jumble sentences. She uses the "s" sound, and just talks up a storm like you can understand her. It is so funny listening to her because she looks at you with a straight face and just tells you a whole story. Especially when you fuss her for something she is doing wrong....she then decides to tell you something that seems like it would mean "mom, it's no big deal, I can climb these stairs with my eyes closed and one hand tied behind my back...chill". She thinks her big brother and sister are the funniest people on earth!
So we have 24/7 entertainment around here! What a blessing!! Here are a couple of pictures from this morning. She is finally using her "walker" thingy and walking all over the place. (Hannah you will enjoy these pictures:-) I still haven't been able to do her one year old photo's but since Jon Michael and Ashlynn have started school and things are starting to get going, I will have time to do them. So hopefully that will happen this week....if the weather is nice. Well, here are the pics....:

First day of school
Today was Ashlynn's first day of "big girl" school....she was soooo excited. I was all choked up when I dropped her off in the cafeteria for breakfast, and her being nervous didn't make it any easier on me....well, after meeting with her teacher I passed back by the cafeteria to look in the window to see how she was doing, and the little turkey was fine!! Laughing and having fun making new friends. She totally forgot about me:-( She was precious with her little uniform and pigtails. I'll post some more pictures later because today was also Jon Michael's first day of kindergarten:-)

The Goose
baby girl Ashlynn
It is so hard to believe our little girl is starting Pre K this year. It makes me sad that this time has flown by so fast! She is such a beautiful child. We are so blessed! Now we will have 2 kids in school and one at home! WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE?!?!
Thank you Lord for the most awesome chance to be home with our babies to raise them and share every moment with them. And I'm trusting in You that they will be under Your care off in this big world!
We've taught them all we know about the Lord, and have to hope and pray that it will always be at least in the back of their mind, and no matter what choices they make in life, if they stray they will return to Him.
Being a mom is so wonderful! It's more than I ever imagined it would be! God is so AWESOME!
